A dental sealant is a tooth-colored plastic resin used to prevent cavities and seal deep crevices and grooves in the teeth in order to prevent decay. Sealants are vital in younger children, but healthy adult teeth can similarly benefit!

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is one of the most powerful minerals to help prevent tooth decay by making the tooth enamel more resistant to attacking acids created by bacteria on a plaque in the mouth. Fluoride treatment for kids is imperative to foster the strength of both primary (baby) and newly formed permanent (adult) teeth. For adults, fluoride provides added protection against tooth decay or acidic erosion from various foods and drinks that we consume daily. Our office also offers a range of take-home prescription strength fluoride toothpaste if you are found to be at a higher risk for tooth decay.
