Partial and Full Dentures

Complete and partial dentures are prosthetic teeth used to replace missing teeth in order to restore your chewing ability and smile. They mimic natural teeth; and, new advances in dentistry have made them more comfortable to wear.

Partial Dentures are a great option when you have teeth that can be saved – because they preserve your jawbone and provide stability and support for the denture. The denture will fit around your natural teeth and can be metal based or made of a gum-colored flexible material.

Full Dentures are custom-made for your mouth after all of your teeth have been removed and the tissues have healed. They cover the entire upper or lower jaw in a single arch.

With dentures fabricated by Heights Dental Tampa, we want you to be as comfortable as possible with your new smile. Regular visits are needed to ensure the dentures fit comfortably and without irregular wear. As with a new shoe, a new set of dentures take some getting used to - so adjustment appointments may be needed. It is important to note that dentures typically last less than 10 years, so if your denture is showing signs of wear or becoming increasingly loose, it may be time to schedule an appointment for a replacement set!
