In Office Whitening

At Heights Dental Tampa, we utilize Opalescence™ BOOST teeth whitening. Teeth whitening involves the removal of stains and discoloration from the enamel (the outer part of the tooth) and dentin (the inner part of the tooth). Our enamel is thin and typically much lighter in color, while dentin is darker in color and makes up the bulk of the tooth. Enamel can be discolored over time simply from age, but also from outside sources like coffee, tea, tobacco, and other darker colored foods and beverages. As we age, our enamel also thins, causing more dentin to show through, making the overall appearance of the tooth look darker. The active ingredients in our Opalescence™ teeth whitening gel are able pass into your teeth to oxidize the discolored molecules deep down in your teeth, removing stains and whitening your smile. The patented formula also contains PF (potassium nitrate and fluoride) for better comfort and to combat sensitivity.

Opalescence™ Boost™ professional teeth whitening is applied in the office to give you a white with no hot or uncomfortable LED teeth whitening lights. You will have a brighter smile with only two or three 20 minute treatments!
